Viking's Baseball League is a fun and instructional baseball league for your child. Practices are held every Thursday afternoon where kids are taught various baseball skills, while games are played every Saturday afternoon. Games are played at either 1:00, 2:00, or 3:00 on the baseball diamond at Waldstein Park.
Location: Waldstein Park on Dean Rd.
Teams: 10-12 kids per team (teams based on school and friend requests)
Early Registration Discount Rate: $105 (Expires 9/13/2016)
Regular Registration Rate: $130/program
OPTIONAL EXTRA PRACTICE: Thursdays 3:25pm & 4:20pm
- Under hand pitching with a Tee being used if necessary
- Everyone bats
- Umpire and Coaches: Viking's staff

What is the Difference Between the Baseball League and a Viking Baseball Clinic?
In the Baseball League, your child is placed on a team with 11 other children and they play with that group of kids for the whole season. A schedule is created and their team will play against a different team every week. They will practice with their team at either 3:25pm or 4:20pm every Thursday with a multi-inning game being played every Saturday afternoon.
Our Baseball Clinics have more instruction and less game time than our League. In our clinics, we will do 15-20 minutes of basic skill development drills. We then follow that with 8-12 minutes of games that incorporate the drills learned that day. Each clinic concludes with a 10-15 minute scrimmage. Teams are chosen at random for the scrimmages.
Both the League and our Clinics are excellent bridges to Brookline Youth Baseball in the Spring as this is Baseball program most 5-7 year olds will participate in. If you have any questions, feel free to email us anytime: info@vikingcamps.com
